Our colour predictions for 2015

2015 colours

The autumn/winter season is about deep, inky tones and teals. In the winter months the focus is on creating a haven at home, a warm and relaxing environment in which to entertain and unwind. You can view our In Season colours for the winter here.

However the spring/summer season is a different story.

Spring/summer 2015 will be much more about lightness and delicacy...think soft yet muted pinks and whites, pale blues and accents of shimmering finishes such as pearl and metallic paints.

These light tones co-ordinate well with each other so feel free to experiment with different shades on different walls within the same room, or a feature wall with a metallic shimmer repeat pattern to create a subtle yet stunning feature.

Examples of these colours from the Craig & Rose palettes are Porcelain Blue, Camisole PinkAdam White, Stainless Steel and Gardenia Pearl.

A lot of designers are predicting olive green to be a favourite such as Tapestry Green and Deep Adam Green. Khaki tones were certainly a theme on the runways for the upcoming season.

Fashion and Interiors often influence each other, and if we look at the catwalk shows for SS15 trends one unifying theme seems to be texture. From the high shine metallic (DKNY, Giles) to transparent finishes at Valentino to luxurious suede at Gucci it looks like finish and texture are an important consideration.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to play with finish and texture on your walls have  a look at some of the special finishes in our Artisan range. From Metallics and Glitters to Concrete Effect and Stone Effect textures, you can add another layer of intrigue to your walls.
