1829 - Perfection In Colour

Named after the year the company was first established, and launched in 2000, Craig and Rose’s flagship 1829 range features a palette of 48 authentic period colours, researched using the company’s extensive historic archives.

Eight historical periods, including Art Deco have been revisited by the company in order to recreate classic authentic colours from times past. Other stylish eras include Georgian & Regency, Rococo, Victorian, Renaissance and Ancient World. Ming and the Arts and Crafts Movement have also been paid homage to by the brand.

 
All 48 colours in the 1829 range are available in two finishes, Chalky Emulsion: a rich, matt finish which mimics traditional distemper, giving superior coverage and drying to a soft velvety texture; and Acrylic Eggshell: a low sheen finish that is more environmentally sound than traditional oil gloss, ensuring that colours can be co-ordinated for both walls and woodwork. 1829 also features 12 luxurious Precious Metals paints, which can be used for embellishing both interior and exterior surfaces, such as cornicing, woodwork or metal.
