Our key trend predictions - Winter Warmth, Spring Fresh and Extreme Accents encompass the warmth and belonging of natural tones, with a move towards the fresh, light tones of new beginnings. Team these with bright pops of colour to make a statement in your own home.
Winter warmth
To see us through the rest of the winter we look towards sparkly finishes like glitter glaze, and our love affair with deep colours such as the trend for using black as a feature wall continues. Natural and organic tones including terracottas like Venetian Red and deep greens like Angelica and Deep Adam Green endure.
Spring Fresh
For Spring 2019 we move towards fresh bright colours that signify a new start – think clean, light, airy and familiar. Embla, Esterhazy, Camisole Pink and Porcelain Blue all feature. Greys, while still popular, will begin to be eclipsed by neutrals inspired by nature, think stone, sand and pearl shades like Marble Dust, Pearl White and Pale Cashmere.
Misty mid blues comfort and provide a calm backdrop for our busy lives. Shades such as Pompadour, Swedish Blue and Braze Blue combine with minimalist neutrals like White Doe and Pantry White.
Extreme accents
Clean bright accents illustrate an injection of enthusiasm and hope for the future. Inject zingy pops of colour into a calm backdrop for maximum impact. Pantone has announced their colour of 2019 to be Living Coral, a bright, animated colour which is perfect for use as an accent.Team coral toned cushions and upholstery with blues on the wall or bright yellow paint accents. Stronger colours from the 1829 range such as Lamplighter, Cadmium and Persian Rose are perfect accent colours.
In this video, hear from paint expert Ian Stewart, who talks us through his experience and some useful advice about the three premium finishes in our 1829 Collection.
At Craig & Rose, our passion for paint goes beyond colour - we encourage creativity at every step and are proud of our reputation for premium quality. But of course, colour is an important part of this process. We are continually reviewing our range, listening to our customers and watching with interest the evolution of interior trends. The launch of 11 new colours into the 1829 collection is an exciting result of this hard work.
