THE SUMMER EDIT

With summer in full swing, now is the perfect time to celebrate our favourite bright and bold colours.  Our Summer Edit, curated by our design team, explores some of the hottest tones to look out for this season. With the limited ability to travel, our need for escapism makes breezy blues and tropical greens more popular than ever. The trend for contemporary pinks as our new neutral continues and punchier pinks shades are a great accent tone for any colour! Statement reds will be the underdog of the summer, making their way into a variety of design schemes this year. Reds, oranges and corals are invigorating and emotive; try using them as highlights or on furniture upcycling projects. Then there's the joyous yellows that bring much-needed optimism, acting as an energetic force in any scheme.

This combination really is the most stylish palette for the summer!  It's the clashing nature of these two shades that we love so much and Alhambra Stone is a tone of pink that is so versatile.  Try pairing vibrant colours like this with a calmer neutral such as Craftman's White for some reassuring contrast in your scheme.

Pair crisp a grey like Barony with our cleanest white Marble Dust which both hold their own next to a more confident shades such as Lamplighter.  Yellow and grey are appearing across homewares and textiles after 'Illuminating' and 'Ultimate Grey' were announced as Pantone's Colour of the Year 2021 so you'll have no trouble finding complementary accessories.

Whites with warm undertones work really well next to contrasting cool colours such as Fleurie to achieve a palette which feels fresh and balanced.

For a timeless style, create your own haven by incorporating natural materials and white with a selection of muted, dusty shades. Here, cool, relaxed, breezy blues work their way into a modernised version of a classic coastal look.

Begin Your Summer Refresh!

Even if your Summer isn't packed full of tropical beaches and poolside retreats, we welcome you to explore colour and enjoy the benefits of incorporating some new and uplifting choices into your home.
