Unsame Your Kitchen

Whether you have a kitchen that is in need of a little update or have the opportunity for a full redesign, paint colour can have a big impact on the overall look.  Modern, simple kitchen styles with monochrome features can easily be updated with a flash of confident colour on the walls and as our example above demonstrates, bright colours like Lamplighter can really help to create an invigorating, energetic space especially when applied across wall areas.

The Craig & Rose 1829 collection includes 110 colours which are available in three different finishes.  Out of the three, Eggshell and Gloss are both appropriate for use in a kitchen space and provide a really durable finish for kitchen cupboards. Eggshell is low-sheen so ideal if you prefer a matt finish and gloss provides a nice way to highlight details and of course, is incredibly hard-wearing.

Giving older units a new lease of life with paint is the easiest and most cost effective way to refresh one of the busiest rooms of the home.  The Jordans did exactly this and selected Angelica to add a highlight of colour to their kitchen make-over which perfectly complemented the warm woods and metro tiles.

This kitchen is another great example of how effective paint can be and how a confident choice of colour can transform a space.  Smalt is a intense cobalt shade which is energising and playful, feeling crisp and clean against white and stark black.

Of course, its not just bright, punchy colours that can create impactful, eye-catching styles in the kitchen. This warm, neutral scheme with plenty of texture and classic details is brought right up to date thanks to the Zeitgeist feature wall and modern accent pieces.

Incorporating a show-stopping texture is another excellent way to #UnsameYourKitchen.  In this example from @creweshome , concrete finishes and colours are used in combination with warm tones such as contemporary wood texture and a natural woven rug.  The monochrome tiling breaks up the layers of the room and sits nicely alongside Craig & Rose Concrete Effect paint which features on the walls.
